No Saudi World Cup

FIFA awarded the 2034 tournament to Saudi Arabia in December 2024 as the sole bidder. The plan needs 11 new stadiums and roughly 200,000 new hotel rooms, built largely by the country’s 13 million migrant workers. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch called the decision a "moment of great danger" for human rights.
